Insulated garage corner turned into a 600 bottle cellar by PSL Custom Wine Cellar for a retired couple off Indrio Road.
The owners had a deep two car garage and only ever parked one car in it, so they asked us to wall off the back corner for their growing Napa and Rhône collection. We framed new walls, sealed and insulated every side, added a ducted cooling unit and lined the room with stained pine racks and a tasting ledge. The husband told us the best part is walking out of a hot garage into a room that feels like a cave, and they now host neighbors from across Lakewood Park for Friday pours.

Empty space beneath a staircase rebuilt as a glass front wine nook for about 180 bottles.
This family wanted to use the dead space under their stairs without making the living room feel crowded. We measured the angled ceiling, built stepped racks that follow the stair line, installed a ductless cooling system and closed it in with a frameless glass door and soft LED lighting. The wife said guests always stop to look at it on their way to the back patio, and it has become the spot where they pick a bottle before driving out to dinner along US Highway 1.

Floor to ceiling wine wall finished in a new kitchen addition near Ten Mile Creek.
The homeowner was adding a large kitchen and wanted the wine on show rather than hidden in a closet. We built a glass enclosed wall unit with metal label forward rails, a self contained cooling system and a vapor barrier behind the drywall to fight the humidity that rolls in from the creek. He sent us a photo of the finished wall at his first dinner party and said it was the first thing everyone asked about, ahead of the new kitchen itself.

Most Lakewood Park homes have a spot that can work as a cellar, from a hall closet to the back of a garage. We look at the space you have, the size of your collection and how you like to serve, then build a room that fits. Every residential wine cellar installation follows that same careful prep.
Lakewood Park summers bring highs around 90°F and heavy afternoon storms from June through October. PSL Custom Wine Cellar seals every Lakewood Park cellar with a vapor barrier and closed-cell foam so the humidity and heat stay outside.
Closet conversions suit smaller collections, while a spare bedroom or garage corner gives room to grow. Every build includes proper insulation, a sealed door and cooling sized for the room.

Luxury design is about how the room feels when you walk in. Good lighting, clean lines and finishes that match the rest of the house do most of the work.
We help you choose between warm woods, sleek metal and glass, or a mix of both, so the cellar looks like it was always part of your home. Each layout starts with custom wine cellar design in 3D before anything is built.

A wine room is a space people step into, browse and linger in, so layout matters as much as storage. We plan the door swing, walking space and seating so the room is easy to use.
Many owners in the area add a small tasting table or display shelf, which turns the room into a spot for guests rather than just a place to store bottles.

Racking holds everything together, so we plan it around the bottles you actually own. Standard bottles, magnums and sparkling wines each get the right size slot.
We mix display rows, bulk bins and case storage to make the most of every wall, and keep labels easy to read so finding the right bottle takes seconds. All custom wine racks are built in-house to fit the room.
We start with a call or visit to learn about your collection, how you entertain and the look you have in mind. A few photos and a rough bottle count help us give honest feedback early.
The PSL Custom Wine Cellar team checks the room in person, from wall framing and flooring to power and sun exposure. This tells us how the cellar should be sealed and what cooling it needs.
We put together a layout with racking, lighting and finishes, along with a clear price. You can adjust anything before we build.
Our installers handle the insulation, vapor barrier, cooling system, racks and door. We keep the work area clean and update you as each stage wraps up.
Once the room is ready, we show you how the cooling works and how to care for the space. Our 2-year workmanship warranty covers the work after we leave.
