The owners wanted something guests would see the moment they walked in, with a view of the Barber Bridge lights behind it. We built floor-to-ceiling shelving near the entrance for about 900 bottles, with warm lighting along every shelf, a rolling ladder for staff and a ducted cooling system routed through the ceiling. The manager told us it has become the first photo most diners take.

The homeowner had a small bonus room off the garage that had become a catch-all for boxes, including several cases of wine. We cleared it out, insulated and sealed it, then added white oak racks and case bins for about 400 bottles with a through-wall cooling unit vented to the garage. He said he finally knows exactly what he owns and where every bottle is.
