Cooled steakhouse wine room completed by PSL Custom Wine Cellar for a downtown restaurant across from Flagler Park.
The owner wanted his red wine list to stand up to the steaks, but bottles were stored in a hot back hallway. We closed in a corner of the dining room with insulated walls and a glass front, added oak racks for about 320 bottles and a ducted cooling unit vented through the roof. He told us regulars now ask for a recommendation from the wall before they even open the menu.

Price: $20,500

Lakeside wine cellar completed for a fishing home on Taylor Creek near the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail.
The owner splits his time between the boat and the house and wanted a cellar that could handle long stretches of humid heat while he was out on the lake. We converted a back bedroom with closed-cell insulation, a vapor barrier and a solid insulated door, then fitted cypress racks for about 450 bottles and a split cooling system with a remote temperature alarm. He said he can now check on his wine from the boat.
Turnaround Time: 4 weeks
Price: $23,800

Built-in wine cabinet completed for a family home a few minutes from the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center.
The homeowners wanted wine storage for weekend dinners but did not need a full cellar. We built a cooled wine cabinet into the dining room wall with a glass door, walnut cubbies for about 100 bottles and open shelves above for glasses and decanters. They told us it turned an empty wall into the best-looking spot in the house.
Turnaround Time: 10 days
Price: $8,700

Homes in Okeechobee range from lakeside houses near Taylor Creek to ranch-style homes on larger lots, and most have a bedroom, closet or dining room wall that can hold wine. Each space is checked for wall construction, slab moisture and sun exposure first.
Okeechobee runs warmer than the coast, with August highs near 91°F and January lows around 50°F. PSL Custom Wine Cellar sizes the cooling for those inland afternoons, and the room is sealed so the temperature inside barely moves.
The design then follows your collection, from a small cabinet for weekend bottles to a full room for long-term storage. It is the same groundwork behind each residential wine cellar installation PSL Custom Wine Cellar takes on.

A luxury cellar is about how you enjoy wine, so tasting tables, stemware racks and warm LED lighting are placed where they will actually get used. Finishes are matched to the house so the cellar feels built in.
Rustic woods and stone fit the ranch-style homes common around town, while cleaner finishes suit newer builds. A 3D custom wine cellar design shows the finished room before any work begins.
03
A wine room gives a growing collection space for seating, a tasting table and racks on every wall. Airflow is planned so the whole room stays at the same steady temperature.
Restaurants downtown and along U.S. 441 use the same setup to keep their wine cool and on display.
04
Racks are sized around the bottles you own, including Champagne and magnums, so nothing scrapes or wobbles. Single slots, display rows and case bins can all share the same wall.
Cypress, oak and walnut give a warm, classic look, while metal pegs suit a more modern room. The custom wine racks are made in-house, so sizes match the room down to the inch.
We start with a quick call about your collection, the space you are thinking of and your budget, so our first visit is focused.
The PSL Custom Wine Cellar team measures the room and checks the walls, slab, power and sun exposure, which helps us plan cooling for Okeechobee's hot, humid summers.
We share a layout with racks, lighting and finishes, and you can adjust anything before we start building.
We seal and insulate the room, install the cooling system, then set the racks, trim and lighting with the house kept tidy.
Our crew checks temperature and humidity over a few days, then we walk you through the controls and the cellar is ready for bottles.
